So my title pretty much explains my life right now. Most of my time is dedicated to my job, but I absolutely love it! I was explaining to a friend the other night what I do and what Youth Villages is all about. And I started to realize just how passionate I was about this company and what they do. It is so rare to find a job that you love. And I think I have found it! My co-workers are so awesome and supportive! My supervisors and mentor have been such a huge help! This internship has been such a blessing! Yes, I work all the time but atleast I love what I am doing and it keeps me busy for the moment.
Currently I am looking around at apartments and searching for maybe a roommate, b/c it is definitely very very expensive to live on your own. So my goal this week is to go out and look at apartments and get a list of prices so I can narrow down the search. Then I can finally set up a budget for myself since I will pretty much be on my own in a few months.
Other than the stresses of work and apartment hunting I am great. My older sister, nephew, and brother-in-law came to visit me last weekend and I had a blast watching my nephew he is the most adorable thing ever. Thanks for the visit guys! I love it when people come to see me, it's nice. I do miss my family, but I think I like it here in Knoxville. I see myself staying here for atleast another year if not 2. I also see myself working for Youth Villages in the future, they are everything I need in a job. Counseling is something I really enjoy doing.
No pictures this week, sorry I have been way too busy to take any if anyone wants to visit me soon I love company! 2 new CD's to check out are Coldplay - "Viva La Vida" and Jacob Dylan's new album. They are awesome! Also, a band to check out is the Everybody Fields. I went and saw them at Sundown last night and it was like a slower version of O.A.R. so check them out too! One last thing, if you are in the Knoxville area, check out Trio in Market Square it is such a cute restaurant and they have great food as well.
Peace and love
