Graduated and Growing up...

Many many things have been going on in my life, hence the delay on updating my blog. But I do have some spare time to update everyone.

This Friday I graduated from UT, and what an accomplishment it feels like! I never thought I would make it through with all of the challenges that were laid in front of me. After now looking back, I know I can conquer anything I set my mind to! Yes, I know how corny that sounds, but my dad has always told me to go for my goals and to not let anyone hold me back or stand in my way and I have done just that. I pray that my younger sister looks at life the same way, sometimes I feel like some of her friends drag her down, but she is strong and I love her to death and I wish for the best for her.

On April 24, 2008, Tyler Morrissey (T-Mo) was taken from us in a car crash. He was one of my younger sister's close friend. So needless to say, she took his passing pretty rough. But seeing her grow and stay strong the past couple weeks has made me admire her strength and thank God everyday for her and the rest of my family. Although death is a hard and painful, it can also put things into perspective. In the past 6 months there have been 3 people I have known to die in car crashes. I am so grateful to have my 2 sisters and little brother, along with my parents and the rest of my family. Life is short and people need to live it to the fullest! I'm always happy and smiling and I'm as optimistic as I can be. I try to live my life without regret and just be happy. Cherish the days that you have, and try not to be greedy or selfish. This life is too precious to fight, have aggression, or let money run your life. Please take a look at your life, and ask yourself am I happy? or even ask yourself how can I be more selfless?

Tomorrow I start my internship, and I am excited yet nervous at the same time. I have no idea what to expect! But at the same time I think that's what makes it more exciting. We will see how it goes! I also found out I will be living by myself this summer, my 2 roommates are moving out, so I will have the apartment to myself, which is a blessing in disguise. I think this is going to prepare me for the future for when I am on my own. :)

Here are some pictures of what has been going on in my life, some are from graduation and some are from the celebration of school being over, and a few are from when I went home to Nashville with my international friends. Along with a video from the dashboard concert I went to!
So enjoy!

PS. The soundtrack to "I Am Sam" is amazing, check it out!
